AFTER enjoying a stunning run last month, I'm Frank Morgan: RewiRED A Tale from Paradise Heights — by Bolton playwright Joe Byrne — is returning for two more dates.

The one man play based on character Frank Morgan, a hard man loan shark and club owner, will show at The Kings Arms in Salford tomorrow (May 25) and Saturday (May 26).

The play I'm Frank Morgan showed at the Octagon Theatre in 2012 and attracted top reviews.

Award-winning playwright, Joe behind the critically acclaimed Tales from Paradise Heights said that this was more than a re-visit but a whole new show taking audiences into Frank Morgan’s club, The Ace of Spades.

Joe said: "When I wrote the original play I had no idea that I would go on to create a volume of work set in Paradise Heights.

"Revisiting the play has allowed me to acknowledge that world, the places, the characters seen in the other productions and indeed some of the themes explored. This is a different Frank, this is much more the flavour of urban gothic, a twisted fairy tale."

In this play Frank shines a light into recent events in his life. The further the audience go with him, the darker the territory becomes. And waiting in the dark is his

toughest opponent of all.
