VACANT: The former Coral store in Crompton Way could be turned into a Greenhalgh's Picture Google Maps
A FORMER betting shop is to reopen as a craft bakery.
Planning chiefs have given Greenhalgh's permission to run the old Coral bookmakers, in Crompton Way.
The north west food chain now has the go-ahead to revamp the premises, including fitting a new shop front, external shutter and air conditioning, as well as low noise refrigeration equipment.
Conditions of the planning permission state no deliveries should be taken or dispatched from the premises before 7.30am or after 6.30pm, and the roller-shutter must allow be painted ivory.
The planning permission is valid for three years.
