PUBS across Bolton are offering free beer during the World Cup.

Greene King pubs have teamed up with popular football broadcaster Chris Kamara to launch a new limited-edition brew called Un-beer-lievable that patrons can get a pint of free of charge.

The deal will be available at three pubs in Bolton, the Red Lion in Over Hulton; the Bee Hive in Horwich; and the Flag in Bromley Cross.

Fans can get their free pint by downloading Greene King Season Ticket app, which also offers 10 per cent off drinks one hour before, during and after sports matches at 800 pubs nationwide.

Adam Griffiths, manager of the Red Lion, said: “We are going to be showing all the games, but with a special focus on the England games. Let’s just hope we get through the group.

“We have always had great World Cups here, we are always busy and we do a lot of fundraising during the competition for Macmillan Cancer Support.”

The Red Lion is also running a raffle for each England game in support of the cancer charity.

The competition offers the winners a special sofa in front of the television, as well as a case of beer and burgers at half time.

The beer itself is described as a light ale with citrus notes and a crisp, bitter finish.

To claim a free pint, patrons must download the Greene King Season Ticket app from the App Store.

Alternative complimentary drinks are available on request including, pints on draught, bottles and soft drinks.
