WHILE I’m sure everyone will wish Octagon artistic director Elizabeth Newman good luck in her new job, it will be a great shame to see her go.
After almost 10 years, she is moving to take up a new post at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in Scotland.
Elizabeth has proved to be a practical whirlwind, inspiring everyone with the same enthusiasm she has for the theatre and what it brings to all people.
She has won numerous awards, toiled with her customary passion in every kind of project and helped the Octagon to break box-office records. Bolton will definitely miss her.
