BOLTON boxer Jack Cullen moved to 13 wins and one defeat with another impressive victory on Saturday night.

The Little Lever middleweight stopped Swiss opponent Emmanuel Moussinga in the second round at Bolton Whites Hotel.

It took the professional career record of the 24-year-old nicknamed ‘Little Lever Meat Cleaver’ to 13 wins and one defeat – a heavily mitigated loss in a prize fight in Dublin where he had much less rest than his opponent in the final.

Cullen’s next fight is scheduled for September and he will go into it in confident mood after another dominant performance on a night where he topped the bill in his home town.

“He’s a tough opponent and he caught me with a punch in the first round,” he said.

“But I showed I can take a punch with that and I put in a good performance.

“I knew I can take a shot anyway and I was happy with my performance.

“I dominated and got another good win. I’m looking forward to the next one and want to thank everyone for supporting me again.”

Cullen had around 200 supporters backing him and his victory continued to increase the possibility of a match with fellow Boltonian Jack Flatley.
