A BOLTON Business Awards winner says his firm has benefited greatly from the accolade.

Bolton-based AVM Solutions won the Start Up Business of the Year at last year's awards.

Managing Director Krishan Mistry said his technology firm, which works with huge bluechip companies, has won recognition for the award.

He said: "The recognition was important. People now know there is a company providing high end technology solutions locally."

Once again we will be celebrating the best of local businesses at our awards ceremony at The Macron Stadium on Thursday, September 27.

We have launched the search to find the best in the business — with 15 categories, from Family Business of the Year through to Manufacturer of the Year.

The awards which represent Bolton’s finest, are now in their 13th year.
