A SPECTACULAR concert celebrating the music of films will take place in the Victoria Hall next month.

Eagley Brass Band with musical director Chris Wormwald will be taking to the stage with Smithills Community Choir, Smithills Community Wind Band and Bolton pianist Robert Aston to present the last concert of their 2017/2018 season.

Entitled Movies, Musical and Miscellany, the concert will feature iconic music from James Bond, Jaws, Batman, Mission Impossible and Indiana Jones fils together with "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman.

There will be an extended audience participation extravaganza of Les Miserables highlights.

Mr Wormald said: "This will feature every song from the hit musical which is now fast approaching its 35th year!

"It is hoped that everyone in the audience will join in — all the lyrics are being provided free of charge on entry to the hall — and for those audience members who are particularly keen to join in with singing Les Miserables, there will also be a pre-concert rehearsal with the full band, choir and piano on stage at 6pm."

The concert takes place on July 7, at 7.30pm.
