PAINTINGS by a Radcliffe artist are to go on display at Radcliffe Library.
Denis Haslam, a lifelong resident of the town, has recently retired and taken up painting as a hobby over the last few years.
He particularly enjoys painting portraits and one of his favourite works is a self produced copy of Girl with a Pearl Earring by Dutch master Vermeer.
Twelve of Mr Haslam's paintings, done in acrylic and watercolour on canvas and wood, will now go on show at the library next month.
The library is open to visitors from Tuesday to Saturday.
