THIS photograph shows a familiar Bolton town centre street but in a very different era.
Here we see the historic location of Churchgate in the 1880s.
The buildings of the Golden Lion and Booth’s Music Shop were there even in those days.
Walking along Churchgate it is interesting to imagine how many people have walked the same route in the hundreds of years since it was built.
