Northern Rail is one of 13 rail companies that has been said to give good advice to customers on compensation.
MORE should be done to compensate season ticket holder in the areas worst affected by rail disruption.
Transport for the North's board recommended yesterday that season pass holders in the areas worst affected receive four weeks' worth of travel, and a weeks' worth for those in other areas. It also recommended a marketing campaign be funded to promote areas where tourism was affected.
