THERE’S a chance for afternoon tea with the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Elaine Sherrington, at the town hall on Wednesday, July 11.
As well as a delicious tea and musical entertainment visitors can also see the beautifully refurbished blue room and reception room which are the Mayor’s Parlour.
The event runs from 2pm to 4pm with tickets at £15 each going towards the mayor’s charities which this year are Fortalice, Bolton Hospice, Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme and Bolton Lads and Girls Club. For tickets either email mayorsoffice@bolton.gov.uk or call 01204 331090.
