A CASUALTY was taken to hospital after a crash involving two cars in Blackburn.
The incident took place on Queens Road at 2.47pm on Sunday afternoon.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "Two fire engines from Blackburn and Earby attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Queens Road, Blackburn.
"Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to extracate a casualty from one of the vehicles who was then conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
"Crews were in attendance for 45 minutes."
