THE sun shone down on Victoria Square as thousands of youngsters took part in the world’s largest Ironkids event.
The participants ages went all the way from pre-school and nursery children up to secondary school pupils in years 9 and 10
Jamie Scott aged 8 said "It was really good fun, I want to do the real Ironman when I am older".
