MEMBERS of staff at a school made famous in the hit television series Educating Greater Manchester have been suspended, it has emerged.
Education bosses at Salford Council confirmed that the action has been taken against a number of staff at Harrop Fold School in Little Hulton.
Cllr Lisa Stone, lead member for children's and young people's services confirmed that members of staff have been suspended.
She said: "The matter is being dealt with according to the school and council's procedures.
“We cannot comment further but the council is supporting the school to provide stability until the end of the academic year. Our priority is the students and we will support the school to make sure their educational needs are met so they can achieve the best possible outcomes."
Educating Greater Manchester made stars of its pupils and staff when it aired on Channel 4.
