THE annual Bubble Rush event is returning to Queens Park.

The bubble-filled 5k raises money for Bolton Hospice each year and earlybird places are almost sold out.

Entrants start in a sea of foam and get covered in coloured bubbles as canons pump coloured foam at four “bubble stations”, creating 4ft deep bubble baths along the route.

Last year the fun run raised more than £50,350 for the hospice and more than 1,350 people took part.

The run is not timed and you can walk, dance, toddle or even jog round the course, regardless of ability.

For the first time for 2018 Finn the Bubble Fish will be in Bolton as the mascot for the 5k event.

The 5k takes place on Sunday, September 16 from 11am.

To sign up for the fun run visit boltonhospice.org.uk online, earlybird places for the first 500 entrants are £15 for adults and £7.50 for children.

Standard registration is £20 and £10.
