FURIOUS concertgoers have complained about issues at the Macron Stadium during the Killers and Little Mix shows over the weekend.
The two bands performed at the Middlebrook venue on Friday and Saturday respectively with about 30,000 at each.
It was the first time in years that the stadium hosted huge music concerts — but many were not impressed, with most complaining about car park and travel issues.
Little Mix fan Jess Marsh enjoyed the show but said there were problems.
The 23-year-old, who came from Hoghton to see the show, said: "We left the concert at about 10pm and it was just bumper-to-bumper, standstill traffic. There did not seem to be any traffic officers about trying to control it. Friends we went with were still sat in the car park at 12.30am.
"I do not think the stadium was prepared for this sort of crowd and I do not think they should host concerts on this scale again.
"I certainly would not go back for one."
Not surprised by all the angry #tweets from people at the .@macronstadium tonight 4 #LittleMix ! I was at #TheKillers last night & the queues 4 drink & food & car parking were a total shambles! Hopefully people will see all these Tweets & boycott future events! #MEN #Bolton #NME

The venue was not helped by Northern's removal of train services on Saturday, due to ongoing electrification works, and lane closures on the M61.
A spokesman from Bolton Wanderers said: "Macron Stadium welcomed over 60,000 visitors for both concerts over the weekend.
"We are aware of some issues in relation to travelling to and from the venue and on site car parking.
"All visitors were inside the venue prior to the main acts starting. Unfortunately, trains weren’t available on Saturday due to the ongoing electrification process by Network Rail.
"We worked in partnership with TfGM to provide detailed travel advice in advance of each concert.
"We will be reviewing operations of both concerts with all partner agencies during a comprehensive debriefing, and will work closely with TfGM, Greater Manchester Police and operators of other car parks in our local area to identify how we can improve visitors’ travel and car parking experiences for future large scale events."
