Darren John Anderson was first arrested on Tuesday morning after officers received a string of reports from residents in Cherrywood Avenue.

Police have now confirmed that the 41-year-old has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and attempted theft from a motor vehicle.

He was also wanted on warrant and was remanded to appear at Bolton Magistrates Court yesterday.
