A TEENAGER was hailed 'a ready-made star' after performing in the final of a TV singing contest.

On Saturday night, Drew Gudojc, aged 14, sang her heart out on stage as she performed ‘Survivor’ By Destiny’s Child in the Final of The Voice Kids UK 2018.

The Little Lever lass narrowly missed out to 13-year-old Daniel with his powerful rendition of Mariah Carey’s Any Time You Need A Friend.

She said on the ITV show that she had enjoyed every single second of the performance.

The rising star received a standing ovation and high praise from the panel of judges.

Former McFly member and her coach for the series Danny Jones said: "Drew, Drew, Drew. Not only are you an amazing singer, performer and thai boxer, but you dare to be you. You dare to be different. You dare to try things. I love that.

"You have just proven to everyone that you are a ready-made star."

While singer Pixie Lott said: "You looked like you were having the best time ever. You were giving it your all.

"You just come out and rock it."

The Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am said of her performance: "What is not to love. It was amazing.

"You were up there enjoying it and it was awesome."

Drew was one of just five contestants to make it through the final for the chance to win a trip to Disneyland and £30,000 towards their music education.

The final also saw a performance from Kylie Minogue, who performed her latest single Golden.

Drew was chosen by fellow Bolton singer and former McFly star Danny Jones, one of the show’s judges, who picked her after a strong performance in the auditions.

After finding out she’d reached the final, the Little Lever Secondary School pupil said the experience had been “crazy”.

She said: “I wasn’t really expecting it, I just went along for the experience of it. I was shocked to see one of the judges turn but for the others to turn it was just amazing.

“Since I got through the first stage it’s been mad, I can’t believe it’s actually happening.”

Her mother, Susan, added: “It’s been amazing, it’s so exciting now that she’s in the final.

“You don’t initially think that they are going to get through because the talent is so good. I’m just so proud of her."
