A BOLTON businessman is celebrating after his firm received a Twitter boost from celebrity retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.

Chris Warbrick, who lives in Lostock, and Martyn Stuttard, owners of Scene My Event tweeted Theo about their events business during ‘Small Business Sunday’ and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.

The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has over 2200 #SBS winners and supports small businesses in the UK.

Business and retail entrepreneur and self-confessed shopkeeper, Theo re‐tweeted Scene My Event’s message to his almost 500,000 followers and as a result, www.scenemyevent.co.uk has already seen their social media following accelerate along with a growth in event bookings.

They are also profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) that is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

Mr Warbrick said, “Martyn & I take immense pride in the work that we do and the events that we create for our clients.

"Receiving this recognition and support from Theo and his team is fantastic for us.

"It will certainly help to further grow our profile and following, whilst giving us additional ways and ideas of growing the business further over the coming months and years."

Scene My Event was founded by Warbrick & Stuttard in late 2016 and have established themselves a leading wedding and events supplier.

They have secured deals with well known North West wedding & events venues and working on high profile events for the likes of Fabrice Muamba, Paddy & Christine McGuinness and the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Small business champion Theo Paphitis, said: “We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members every week and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.

"My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and

learnings.

"The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Scene My Event every success.”
