GETTING the right results equals success for Cameron Manning.
The Turton School pupil achieved an A* in maths, and two As in biology and further maths to win a place at one of the country's top universities.
Cameron will be studying natural sciences at Durham.
"Getting the results are more a relief than anything. The night before I was just dreaming of results day but not getting my results, but I went on line to see if I had got my university place and I had."
Giving advice to students going into upper sixth, he said: "Ignore those who say you are not working hard enough — you know how hard you are working."
