RUNNER Georgia Greenhalgh is on track to achieve her dream of working in the field of sport.

The Bolton Sixth Form student achieved triple distinction star — the highest grade available — in sport (development, coaching and fitness) and is looking forward to going to University of Salford to study sports rehabilitation.

The 18-year-old said: "My ambition is to become a sports physiotherapist for an elite sports team and in the long term set up my own clinic. I have been running since I was young and run and at county standard and would like to get to national standard. Alongside my course, I am studying for a gym instructors qualification.

"As a runner I have had injuries and would like to help others.

"I am so overwhelmed getting these results, I worked so hard. The teachers on my course are excellent and are very supportive."
