A HORWICH man has been taking part in various challenges this year on behalf of the M.E. Association and his wife, Kellie Webb, who suffers from the neurological disease.

David Webb, aged 30, successfully completed the Great Manchester Run in May, Tough Mudder Yorkshire in July and a 15,000ft skydive at the beginning of August as he bids to raise awareness of the condition.

Kellie Webb, David's Wife, said "I am so proud of David and for everything that he is doing on behalf of myself and the M.E. Association. I hope he inspires people to do the same and I wish him the very best of luck in his final challenge next month.

David has so far managed to raise over £550 for the M.E. Association, a charity which aims to make the UK a better place for people with the illness.

David's final challenge on behalf of his wife and the charity takes place on 9th September where he will taking part in The Great North Run in Newcastle.

M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) is a severe neurological disease that blights the lives of around 250,000 people and can lead to greater functional impairment than multiple sclerosis or cancer.
