Police cuts
MY thanks to The Bolton News for printing my letter on Thursday about rising crime and Chris Green MP’s response to it.
The headline above my letter was ‘MP must take police red tape fight to Prime Minister’.
I did not write this headline, which is completely the opposite to my opinion.
I most certainly do not want Chris Green to take ‘Police red tape fight to Prime Minister’ but to take to the PM the real reason — which I’m quite sure she already knows — a chronic lack of funding and more than 20,000 fewer police officers on our streets.
