A MAN has been arrested after a police pursuit along the M61 which reached speeds of 130mph.
Officers from Lancashire Police began chasing a vehicle in the early hours of Monday morning when the driver failed to stop in Blackpool.
Greater Manchester Police officers then joined the pursuit on the M61.
The driver led police through Little Hulton before colliding with another vehicle in Bolton Road, Walkden.
GMP Traffic said the vehicle had failed to stop at the scene of a domestic assault incident in Blackpool shortly after 3.30am.

A man has since been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a 'positive drugs wipe' of the vehicle, of dangerous driving, and assault.
He was also arrested on suspicion of failure to stop, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
