Mouse leads the way on tour

AN interactive and family friendly exhibition is now open at Bolton Museum.

Be welcomed by a tiny mouse, Leopold, who claims the show as his own.

The ‘Animals and Us’ exhibition is positioned on the lower ground floor of the museum in Le Mans Crescent, positioned next to the aquarium.

The exhibition shows elements of art, social history, zoology and many other fascinating elements, along with fun activities for children.

The exhibition is open between 9.30am-5.00pm and is a recurring event throughout September.

In the footsteps of film stars

MANCHESTER’S streets are often used as filming locations, changing up the Northern Quarter’s streets to transport you to the 1900s.

An artistic spectacle

‘Making Landscape’, is an all age art collection in a new exhibition.

The central library and museum have been transformed in to a new exhibition featuring a selection of work from 1778-2016.

Showing works from stunning 18th century watercolours to contemporary photographs. Don’t miss the exhibition on the lower ground floor from 9.30am – 5.00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Building the future cities

HAVE you ever imagined what the world will look like in 200 years?

Legoland are asking you to get creative and draw what you think our world will look like in two centuries time.

At the Legoland Discovery Centre in the Trafford Centre there is a new and innovative challenge for all mini model builders.

The challenge will be taking place in the Legoland Discovery Centre from 3rd September until 19th October.

The activity is included in a general admission ticket which start at £11.95 if purchased online.

Pearl celebrations

ALL day on Saturday shoppers can enjoy the sounds of the 80s at the Market Place Shopping Centre as the hub celebrates its pearl anniversary.

Visitors will be welcomed with the era’s music courtesy of Bolton FM who will be playing live from the stage.

Shoppers can pose in a dedicated photo-booth positioned in the main mall and copy poses made famous 30 years ago. There will also be a range of activities with an 80s theme.
