Lever Chambers Health Centre has replaced its phone system, meaning new contact numbers for patients.
The town centre health centre, which has an emergency walk-in department as well as appointment only services, is the latest of the Primary Care Trust's buildings to switch to a hi-tech phone system that will link all the health centres in Bolton.
Veronica Swinburne, communications manager for Bolton PCT, said: "The new phone system will enable us to provide a more efficient services to callers, and save us money in the long term.
"We hope people will understand if it takes a little longer to get through for a couple of days while we get used to the new system, and will let us know if they experience any ongoing problems after that."
The new Patent Advice and Liaison Service, based at Lever Chambers, will be on 01204 462700, 01204 462701 and the minicom 01204 462703.
The main number will be 01204 462600.
Patients who regularly attend Lever Chambers for treatment should check the correct number during their next visit.

Can someone tell Paul Keaveny it's Tuesday today (story above about drug-dealing). Has he been on the wacky baccy?
