NEIGHBOURHOOD policing teams have worked with a number of schools this week in a bid to tackle crime involving weapons.
Officers have been aiming to educate both children and parents to help them understand the consequences of their actions.
A warning was also issued by officers following the interception of a stun gun in Bolton that was ordered online.
It comes as part of nationwide anti-knife campaign Operation Sceptre, which takes place twice a year
As part of the campaign, Greater Manchester officers have been conducting weapon sweeps and working with schools in an effort to reduce knife crime across the region.
