A BATCH of medication which was left on a bus has been returned safely.
Police issued a warning when the medication was reported lost on Monday afternoon.
Tablets labelled Atorvastain, Danzapitie, Lithium Carbonate, Dosulepin and Propranolol, were thought to have been left on a 540 bus from Moor Lane to Westhoughton but a search of the bus failed to find the medication.
Lithium Carbonate can prove extremely dangerous to both children and adults.
But a police spokesman said today: "Police can confirm the tablets have been safely returned to the owner and no tablets were found missing."
