SEVEN Vietnamese people, including a 14-year-old boy, have appeared in court charged in connection with a cannabis growing plot.
They were arrested by police who raided five homes in Bolton, along with one in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and another in Burnley, on November 21.
Ly Tran, aged 26, Tu Nguyen, aged 35, Anh Nguyen, aged 20, and Tai Lam, aged 33, all of Weaver Chase, Stoneclough, appeared before Bolton magistrates today, along with Son Nguyen, aged 38, and Huong Nguyen, aged 22, both of no fixed address, and the boy who is from Bolton but cannot be named for legal reasons.
They were all charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis and were remanded in custody until February 1 next year when they are expected to enter pleas.
