Wanderers fans are in a race for cheap flights to one of Europe's most glamorous cities after the draw for the Uefa Cup sent them to Atletico Madrid.
Supporters chasing tickets claim easyjet prices from Liverpool soared from £80 to £350 within seconds of the draw being announced at lunchtime.
Others, no doubt using experience earned from previous European adventures, are trying further from afield: ie Edinburgh and Stansted.
In previous games Wanderers have organised official trips but many fans also opt to travel independently giving them longer to enjoy the sights and sounds of the cities they play in. This can cause big problems for places like Belgrade when Wanderers met Red Star, but Munich on an earlier trip attracted 4,000 fans who apparently all had a good time. Don't forget to Tell Us how you are planning to get to Madrid.
