Trip to the battlefields

THE War Research Society welcomes retired police officers and ex-servicemen to join trips to battlefields and cemeteries in Northern Europe.
Donald Sidaway, the local contact for the society, said: "All of our trips have an experienced guide and include conducted tours of the battlefields and requested cemetery visits."
Colditz Castle and The Somme are among sites visited.
