A course is being launched at the University of Bolton to give people an insight into the world of business.
Entrepreneurs are being invited to join the free "fast track" business courses, which will start in April.
The courses, run by the Business, Logistics, Innovation and Systems Research Centre at the university, will be intensive two-day workshops held on Fridays and Saturdays.
Remote support, via an online learning environment, will be provided and credits from exams can be carried forward to a Master's Degree in Business Information Systems or Supply Chain Management.
Dr Chari Vedanthachari, senior lecturer in Enterprise Systems, said: "These courses are for business professionals who may not have the opportunity to keep up to date with the latest developments in the business world.
"They are designed to make the most of the time available with the minimum of interruption to the student's business life."
The courses at the Deane Campus will cover Enterprise Systems Management, Information and Knowledge Management, Procurement and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Problem Solving and Innovation Management.
