Pool of Life held an action-packed 12-bout show at Formby Hall last Friday.
Eight of the Atherton-based club's boxers were fighting, including debut boy Harley Singleton, aged 11, who was beaten by Roche's George Drinkwater.
Joe Darlington, aged 12, showed clear improvement but lost out to Macclesfield's Josh Hughes, while Joe Parker, in his first fight, was stopped by Liverpool's Aaron McSween after a tough first round.
David Fitzmaurice halted the losing sequence by narrowly outscoring Alan Donaldson, of Cleaton Moor, on his return to the ring after 18 months out of action.
Seniors William Warburton, Samson Aluko, Matthew Asking and Mark Smith had mixed fortunes.
Warburton seemed to hold the edge after two rounds against Tommy McGuckin, but his work deteriorated and his Barrow opponent took the verdict.
Cruiserweight Askin did just enough to score a majority victory against Mersey heavyweight Wayne Adeniyi in a gruelling contest.
Former school champion Aluko, aged 18, is still finding his feet as a senior and, after an impressive start, lost out to Cleaton Moor's experienced Martin King.
In the final bout of the evening, young middleweight Mark Smith scored his first win after three contests when he outboxed Roche's Mohammed Mushtaq.
