TV star Casey-Lee Jolleys will be stepping out on this year's Bolton Hospice Midnight Memories Walk.

And the former Coronation Street actress is urging women from across Bolton to join them on Saturday, June 14, to raise as much money as possible for the hospice.

Casey-Lee, who has an academy of dance and drama in Bolton, said: "This is an absolutely fabulous idea. It's a great way for people who have lost loved ones to remember them.

"It is a really unique way of doing that while raising money for this wonderful facility.

"I just hope this event raises as much as possible. People will be able to have some fun as well.

"Hospices are wonderful places. They help whole families."

More than 1,500 women took part in the first midnight walk held last year.

It raised £176,000 but organisers say up to 2,000 women could take this year and raise even more money.

The eight mile, women-only walk begins at midnight in Victoria Square. The walk will take them to Horwich and back to Bolton town centre.

To register call 0844 8111234 or visit www.boltonhospice.org The Midnight Memories Walk is sponsored by Warburtons, Bolton Council and Greater Manchester Police.
