Shop the false alarm ringers

ANYONE reduced to making a hoax call to the emergency services must be seriously short of something to do with their life.
The fire service has launched a new campaign in an attempt to track down two people who have made at least 12 hoax calls so far this year.
While crews and emergency vehicles are busy responding to these calls, real lives are put at risk elsewhere. Recordings of calls have been passed on to The Bolton News and placed on our website.
We urge people to listen to the calls and, if they have any idea at all as to who may be responsible, to immediately pass on the information to Crimestoppers on 0800 5551111 or police. If you have any doubt as to whether or not you are doing the right thing, just remember, you may be saving lives.
