Police have released CCTV stills of two women they wish to speak to following the theft of a bankcard in Wigan.
The victim had her purse stolen from Rose Bridge School, Higher Ince, at about 12.25pm on Monday February 26.
A short time later she received a call from a man claiming to be from Lloyds TSB, who told her someone had been caught trying to use her card.
The offender then asked the victim a number of security questions and, after gaining her confidence, asked for her PIN.
One CCTV still released today shows a woman using the card at a cash machine at the Tesco store on Central Park Way.
A different woman is then caught on CCTV trying to withdraw cash from another stolen card at the Yorkshire Bank in Standishgate.
Police Constable Fiona Mackey from Wigan police said: "Not only has someone stolen the victim's bank cards, but she has then been tricked into handing over personal information that has allowed the offenders to steal from her.
"We have managed to get clear images of two women we want to speak to and I would appeal to anyone that may recognise either of the women to get in touch with police.
"Crimes like this also highlight the need for people to be wary of where they leave their belongings and what kind of information you give out over the phone. I would urge people to be vigilant as genuine callers won't mind you calling back or having the validity of their call checked."
Anyone with any information is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 0161 872 50 50, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
