Will Labour lose to the Tories or will they hold strong? Will the Lib Dems make a dramatic comeback and seize control once again? Or will the smaller parties have an impact and change the make-up of the council?
One thing is certain, it is expected to be a tightly fought battle between the three main parties.
One third of the council seats, 20 in total, are up for grabs, with Labour defending eight, and the Liberal Democrats and Conservatives bidding to hold on to six each.
Labour currently has 26 seats with the Conservatives on 22, Liberal Democrats on 11 and there is one independent councillor.
