A CHARITY Burns Night supper saw Bromley mayor David Crowe joined by church members for a four-course feast which raised more than £1,100 for charity.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints hosted the evening at its Orpington Chapel. The haggis's arrival was heralded with bagpipes in traditional Scottish fashion.
A charity auction rounded off the evening, with items including a week in Majorca, a teddy bear, a crystal vase and even two hours free legal advice. Many local businesses contributed items towards the evening, and the Burns Night committee would like to thank all involved.
