Johnston through to second round

Comments (0)BOLTON darts ace Dave Johnston booked his place in the second round of the Blue Square UK Open with a 6-3 victory over Stuart Pickles.
Pub qualifier Johnston, who hit two 180s in the victory, was always in the lead and will return to the oche later on Thursday night.
"I am just glad to have got through," said the Tyldesley ace. "I am not used to being on television and playing under such hot lights. I just want to keep it going now."
