Get active at Queen's Park

AN exciting range of outdoor activities take place at a Get Active' event at Queen's Park tomorrow, Sunday.

Visitors to the park can test their skills on the climbing wall or try something closer to ground on the low ropes challenge.

There will also be archery, orienteering, treasure hunts, falconry, childrens entertainers and the Pharaoh's Challenge - an ancient Egyptian method of moving large objects with rollers and boards.

There will be music from Bolton Markets Radio and Bolton's own Hoover Brass Band plus face painting, henna painting, junk model workshops and Arts and Crafts sessions from YMCA.

So pack a picnic and get down to Queen's Park, Chorley New Road between 12 noon and 4pm.
