THE University of Bolton has strengthened its standing on the international stage after forging links with Greece and Ireland.
Business students in Athens will embark on University of Bolton courses from October following a new franchise agreement.
Front University Studies is part of Effective Management International, Greece.
Founded in 1987, the training and consultancy company carries out educational and professional training programmes. Their own staff will be teaching the MBA, MBA Small Business Management, MSc e-Business and MSc Supply Chain Management.
The second overseas programme announced by the university is a franchise arrangement with Eden College Dublin and new partner, e-College London.
Eden College is a well-established further education college. University of Bolton staff will deliver the year three and Masters course from September 2009 in a number of business focused degrees.
Professor Stan Oliver, Director of the Business Logistics and Innovation Systems (BLIS) Research Centre at the University of Bolton, said: "The BLIS Research Centre is widening its network of academic partners and building upon its strong current international presence with Dubai, Bahrain, Germany, China, Malaysia and Malawi by welcoming three more partners in Athens, Dublin and London.
"These new developments are planned initiatives to build upon the BLIS vision to become an effective global academic provider of Higher Education working with businesses and industry for the benefit of business and industry."
