A MOTORIST lost control of the car he was driving and ploughed into a wall.
The emergency services were called to the junction of St Helens Road and Dean Church Lane, Daubhill, at around 3am this morning.
The driver of a black Vauxhall Corsa had lost control of the vehicle and driven into the wall of a building.
Two men, aged in their late teens or early 20s, were out of the car by the time fire crews arrived.
They were taken to hospital as a precaution.
A building inspector was also called in, but no major structural damage was done.
Police are investigating.
