A SPECIAL school is set to expand its hairdressing salon, offices and sports facilities.
The governors of Lever Park School, in Stocks Park Drive, Horwich, want to build an extension to the entrance and a canopy over the existing courtyard.
The extension would house a new reception and office area for the school, and the courtyard would be converted into a gymnasium to provide extra sporting activities for pupils.
The school's hair and beauty salon would also be expanded, increasing the school's capacity for vocational hairdressing lessons.
A planning application has been submitted to Bolton Council and a decision is expected by July 28.
