A TURNSTILE rescued from Bolton Wanderers former home at Burnden Park has found a new resting place at an Egerton deli.
The turnstile was bought by Whites fan Paul Lister for £500 from fellow supporter Ian Gray, who bought it for £200 at a memorabilia auction after the ground closed in 1997.
Property developer Mr Lister, aged 44, originally bought the turnstile for his new home in Blackburn Road, which was once Egerton's post office.
However, he has now moved the turnstile to the Poppy Deli and cafe, which he has just opened in Egerton.
Mr Lister has restored the turnstile and positioned it in an outdoor seating area, where customers can admire it over a coffee.
He said: "I think it looks great in its new home."
