A SCHOOLBOY proved “top of the glass”.
For Kristian Fothergill, aged 10, has had his illustration transformed into a stained-glass window to mark the opening of his school.
Leverhulme Primary School in Breightmet opened in September, 2007, after an amalgamation of Crompton Fold School and Roscow Fold Primary.
To commemorate the opening, Classical Glass Ltd offered to create a stained glass window and youngsters in year five came up with ideas on what should be included in the design, before pencilling their own illustrations.
Kristian’s design was chosen to be transformed into the work of art to take pride of place in the front entrance.
