A SCHOOL in Smithills has been given permission to put up a security fence around its grounds.
Councillors approved the plans for Johnson Fold Primary School in Worston Drive after the design was changed from a palisade style to welded mesh.
The school will also have new school gates, lay new footpaths and other landscaping.
