IF you want to get your teeth into something a bit different this Christmas, Harper Green School’s annual musical is definitely worth a look.
The Farnworth school is presenting Dracula Spectacular, a spooky tale about Dracula, his mother, and his revolting side-kick Genghis, who lure a teacher and three pupils into their Vampire Empire.
A cast of 40 pupils are starring in the musical, which they have been rehearsing for since September.
Head of drama and show producer Jane Hyde said: “Our main show is a musical and it is always staged at this time of year. This is a bit different, a lot of fun and not at all scary.”
The musical takes to the stage today — subject to the weather — and Monday afternoon for an audience made up of primary school children. It will open to the public on Tuesday and run until Thursday.
All performances start at 7pm. Tickets are priced £6, £4 concessions and family tickets for two adults and two children are £15.
