A HUNT is being held at Rivington today.
The traditional Holcombe Hunt is held every Boxing Day and attracts hundreds of people.
It starts at noon at Rivington Hall Barn.
In 2005, the hunting ban came into force and, while dogs can longer chase foxes and hares, they can follow a scent.
Master of the hunt Arnold Greenhalgh said: “If it is nice weather, we will hopefully get a really good turnout. People are advised to arrive early as it is always very busy at Rivington on Boxing Day.”
