Hands up for a glittery Christmas

GLITTERY fun was had by all at Grosvenor Nursery school as youngsters prepared for Christmas.

Children at the school in Lord Street, Kearsley, have been making a range of Christmas decorations which will be put up in the school in the run-up to the festive season.

They include hand-painted glitter stars, silver paintings and sparkly drawings.

Headteacher Maureen Vickers, said: “We finish for Christmas quite early so we like to get our decorations up on December 1 which means getting organised very early.

“The nursery will look lovely when we put the children’s decorations up. It is always a magical place when all their Christmas art work is on display.

“They absolutely love making the decorations. It is definitely a case of the messier the better here!”
