POLICE will be on the look out for potential troublemakers at tonight’s match between Bolton Wanderers and Burnley at the Reebok Stadium.
The Premier League fixture has taken on added significance for both sets of fans since former Clarets manager Owen Coyle switched allegiance to take the helm at the Reebok earlier this month.
Football liaison officer Sgt John Clee said: “We welcome all football supporters and encourage them to enjoy their time at the Reebok Stadium.
“However, should anyone wish to spoil it for the vast majority and act in an anti-social or improper manner they will be dealt with positively, firmly and robustly.”
British Transport Police said no special measures had been put in place for the game.
